Steyning attended the Annual Cluster Football Tournament held at St Peter's, Henfield on a very bright and warm afternoon in October. Both teams were a mix of Years 6 & 5 , with Steyning "White" playing in division A and Steyning "Blue" in B. Steyning "Blue" started off with an exceptionally close game with Jolesfield, which saw us lose by a single goal, having two goals disallowed in either half. Then they played St Peter's A who were a very strong unit and been together for over two years. After a close first half, with no goals scored, Henfield scored three in quick succession as Steyning pushed forward trying to score. Lastly, Steyning beat Ashurst by three goals to nil with goals from Landon, Willem and Josh.
Steyning "White" unfortunately did not fare much better, losing to the eventual finalists, Upper Beeding in the first game. They then played a hard fought draw against Cowfold, with goals from Robbie and Amos securing a point. They then lost the final game to the second Henfield team, which meant that neither team reached the semin finals for the first time in a long while. In the end St Peter's A ran out worthy winners by a single goal over Upper Beeding, but both will represent the Area in the Southern Area Finals.
